'Complete your diver training staying on the reef aboard the Kangaroo Explorer'




Two Day & One Night Referral Course:

We offer you the chance to complete your diver training while staying aboard the Kangaroo Explorer on the outer Great Barrier Reef.
The length of your stay would depend on how many dives you still require to complete your training.
Your instructor must give you the relevant paperwork to bring with you.

Additional Costs:

  • Dive Medical - you need to obtain this in Cairns prior to your course - $48.00

  • Reef and Port charges (per day) - whilst you are on the reef - $10.00

  • 2 Passport sized photos - if you do not already have your own - $7.00

  • Fuel Levy - $5.00

    • The M.V. Kangaroo Explorer is a modern, 25 metre catamaran with 16 cabins (twin, double and 4-berth). Each cabin is fully air-conditioned, carpeted, has its own en-suite facilities and window. The vessel has an excellent dining area & bar, carries it's own chef who produces excellent meals. Topside there is a lounge where you can relax after the diving. The vessels moves to a varierty of reefs each day - but which ones is dependant on the tides & currents at the time.
