Day Dives Port Douglas

Introductory Scuba Diving!

An introductory dive allows those with no experience to enjoy the thrill of diving under the safe control and supervision of one of our highly qualified instructors.

An introductory dive on the Great Barrier Reef is often the highlight of ones holiday in Australia. The instructor will closely supervise and guide you on a journey to the underwater world, where you will experience the magic of the Great Barrier Reef.

Children can also enjoy this experience, the minimum age being 12.

Certified Divers!

Certified divers can enjoy up to three dives at different outer reef locations. We are committed to giving fun, and adventure at the best outer reef sites the barrier reef has to offer.

Dives take place from either the main vessel at a mooring site, or a drift dive back to the vessel from our tender.

Reefs that we regularly visit include Opal, Agincourt, St. Crispins and the Sisters. Scuba diving sites include Turtle Bay where you may encounter 'Killer' the friendly giant Maori Wrasse, The Cathedrals a collection of giant pinnacles, Split-Bommie, with its' schools of brightly colored fairy basslets and fusilers, and Barracuda Pass with its' coral gardens and giant clams.

Certified divers are required to produce their certification cards and complete paperwork once on board. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided as well as a buffet lunch.
