If you're short of time or you just want to see and do everything that Australia has to offer in a two- or
three-week period, then a referral scuba diving course is the way to go.
You'll need to contact your local dive shop and arrange to complete your pool and theory work while you are
still at home. This means when you arrive in Australia - you only have to do your sea dives to complete your course.
Also please note: even though you will have to have a divers medical at home prior to starting your diver training,
when you arrive in Queensland you will be required to undergo another.
Liveaboard Referral dive courses.
Be sure to bring your referral form with you (it verifies you've completed the pool and theory work,) and you can
begin your training dives on the Great Barrier Reef. In just two days, either on a live aboard or from day
boats, you can become a certified diver!
